Information Systems for Plant Maintenance and Customer Service-
Configure Measurement Document Update
everything is fine as per screen shot. what you are expecting?
Not able to update object list. I am able to enter equipments, FL Notification but entries are not getting update during save of MO.
I tried defining few of the standard messages delivered by SAP for maintenance notifications as Error, warning etc in SPRO path: Maintenance and service order-->Message control. When I logged in and try to create a notification to reflect those messages, there is no change or the message is not at all displayed.
Can someone let me know how do i achive this in SAP using standard message control and how to do I know which messages are hard coded by SAP.
Thanks
Murad
Dear Experts
There is performance based strategy plan with cycle set (250 hrs, 500 hrs,750 hrs,100hrs).
Last order release & completed on date 13.09.2012 with counter reading 2377 hrs.So next order should be generated on after 250 hrs (i.e. at 2627 hrs.).
But system has released an order after 170 hrs at counter reading 2547.
Please Guide how this issue can be overcome.
Thanks in Advance.
You create 2 Master Warranties and attach to Equipment.
1 Customer Warranty - create 2 service line items
i) Service warranty to coincede with Manufacturer Warranty. Use a counter of 730 days if it's for 2 years.
ii) Customer Warranty
use a counter of 730 days plus either 365, 730 or 1095 days depending on which extended warranty option is purchased by the customer. Within the equipment, you set a start date the same as the expiry date of the Manufacturer warranty.
2 Manufacturer/Vendor Warranty - also create 2 service line items
i) Vendor Warranty. Use a counter of 365 days for 1 year.
ii) Manufacturer warranty. Use a counter of 730 days if it's for 2 years.
For inheritance of Manufacturer warranty from superior objects. SAP automatically performs a check on both current object and two levels above. Current object takes precedent.
Greetings Pravin,
Please consider using a Shift Factor in your Maintenance Plan scheduling parameters. This way you can shift the next Order's due date based on when the predecessor was completed.
See helpful links:
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_470/helpdata/en/3c/abb384413911d1893d0000e8323c4f/content.htm
Can you please send a screen-shot of your Scheduling Parameter data from IP03, also a screen-shot of IP10 for that plan.

Its not perfect, but we used the Reason code in IW41 to track progress.
This allowed the user to enter a time confirmation and progress in one transaction.

Hi All,
In my case ,main work center & operation work center(used under operation tab) is different.
Is there any t-code available to view cost incurred against each operation work center for a
period in maintenance order.
thanks in advance.

Hi Pranjal
Greetings. You can get list of order/operations with selection criteria of PWC in standard report -IW37n. However the cost showing here will be that of orders not of operations. cost breakups displayed in maintenance orders is as per your customisation under SPRO-PM & CS->maint & service processing->basic setting-> setting for display of cost->maint valuation catagory then assign cost element to valuation catagorie..
Hence cost collected is at order level as per different valuation categories & cost element assignments.

Hi,
Fine,
I have found for a user, this user specific setting in not maintained in OIDH/OID3, both in Quality System and Production System.
In Production System, no issues, he can print the Shop paper for the Order.
In Quality System, he is facing this error message "ID612 - NO USER SPECIFIC SHOP PAPERS ARE DEFINED"
Is there any User specific setting.
Suggestions please.
Raja
