SHEDULING PARAMETER IN MAINTENANCE ORDER.
Dear All,
i am new to this community please suggest me regarding consumption order in iw31.
i have created a consumption order for regular consumption of materials in equipment.
suppose i created an order on 28.10.2012 and i gave the basic start date 01.10.2012, so accordingly my first operation start will be 28.10.2012. and i chose the component in component tab on same date(means 28.10.2012) so my requirement date will be 28.10.2012. and next day(29.10.2012) i chose one more component for the same operation. then my requirement date of previous component changes to 29.10.2012,
please suggest me so that my previous day reservation requirement date should be previous date and current date requirement should be current date.

Mail for notifications in SAP inbox
Hi Nitin, I am not on the system, no special config required - we need to use the standard SAP work flow tasks and you need to trigger a mail to a identified person ( you have not mentioned the logic in the above requirement) on every notification create event.
Hope it helps you, if further help required come on net meeting on monday. Give clarity of the same

Check the Scheduling Parameters.
IMG - PM & CS - Maintenance & Service Processing - Maintenance & Service Orders - Scheduling - Scheduling Parameters
Check the option as Do not change dependent requirements.

Check the setting in ADJUST DATES under
IMG - PM & CS - Maintenance & Service Processing - Maintenance & Service Orders - Scheduling - set Scheduling Parameters
and make the entry as
" Do Not Adjust basic dates, dependent requirements, to order start"

Check in OKEQ also for the Cost Estimate Configuration for Maintenance Order.

Enter old Malfunction notification From 1982
Hi Expert,
Requirement is to enter all malfunction notification for equipment from year 1982, but system gives error
Malfunction start only allowed from date 25.01.1998
Message no. IM490
Pl. provide solution for same.

CM 34 - How to change the profile

When I run CM34, the system defaults the Overall Profile as SAPPM_G005. I have two questions:
1) How could I chjange the deafult?
2) Is there a way to select a different overall profile within the transaction?

How to make fields in PM Notification Screen Mandatory?
Folks
I am looking for a while in IMG for setting some of the fields like Mw.WorkCenter, Maint Plant, Planner group, Planning Plant as mandatory in Notification screen. To my bad luck, I wasnt able to find any relevant settings in SPRO.
Tried searching in previous blogs ,forum but to no avail, there is any blog with correct answer.
Though it looks too simple but I couldnt find a way even after hard try,
Let me know if any one has done similar stuff earlier thru SPRO or a way out to achieve it
