Maintenance call influenced by Order Completion Date

$

Hello All,

I have a strategy based Maintenance plan with only one maintenance package (90 Days). It has a 90 Days window (Start-Finish) to complete an order. I want to generate the next maintenance order based on the completion date. I have selected the Completion Requirement option since I want to generate the next order only after the previous order is completed.

Current Scenario:

An equipment requires maintenance every 90 days. If the equipment gets maintained within the 90 days (example: 45th day)  and the order is closed, the next order will have a planned date starting from the 91st day to 180th day. If that equipment is not maintained within 135th day it is past the 90 day window, but our order has a window till 180th day.

Requirement:

If the order is completed within the 90 days there should be an order created for the Maintenance Item on the next day and the order should have a 90 Days window (Start-Finish) dates. Same requirements exist if the order is completed past the 90 days window.

Thanks all,

Regards

Sid

Sanddep,

Table maintenance is done by transaction SM30, execute this transaction - give table name which you have - click on maintain button, maintain the data & save .

Sandip,

It will depend on how the table has been set-up.

But try SM30 first. Otherwise the program may be populated via program only.

Maintenance Plan/Item Mass Change (MCH01)

All,

I've just been informed about a transaction for mass-change of plans/items (transaction MCH01). But when I run the transaction it doesn't work in my ECC6-EHP5 (IS-OIL) system stating that the transaction cannot be executed.

So I tried running the underlying program (RMCHMPLA) and to my surprise it works...

Has anyone else tried this transaction/program?

summarize the things,

1. for a particular plan and you know the plan no.- go to IP02/03 to check,

2. for a list of deactivated plan/plans where you have/have not plan numbers but have other selection data like plan text/maint. sort field etc, go with IP15/16.

Greetings Mohan,

Follow Parveen's advice, also, you may want to use the "Fix call" option in IP10 to fine-tune the date for March, or restart the plan for March from 29th/30th/31st  in the same t-code.

Yes - it appears to be an IS-A&D option and part of switch AD_MPD (transaction SFW1).

I did mange to get it to work by "unofficially" adding a new record to table BALSUB (MASS/MPLA/Maintenance Plan). And it seems to work.

However, I cannot find a way to do this "officially".

I think it's also available with the Mill&Discrete Inductries "DIMP" package

I wonder if the program can be attached to a z-tcode instead...? I do not know what is the "official" way to do it, although I will try to have a look in a system with DIMP

Hi Sandeep,

Correct answers to your simple query are already available in the simultaneous replies from Sitanshu and Thyagarajan.

I feel you should reward various replies and close the thread.

Hi Sandip,

Custom Tables are created through SE11 and maintained through SM30 or through Z Tcode.

You need to create transparent table through SE11, define the Table category, size and other properties and then your fields with data types,

Then here itself (SE11) you need to configure the Table Maintenance Generator.

You need an ABAper or if you have workbench authorizations, go through documents for creating and maintaining Z tables.

Take clues from the following links.

1. Create a Z table

2. Table Maintenance Generator and Tcode

Hello

Without Sales Data you can not process warranty claim process.

Is this at order header, and/or operation level?

In the mean time, have a look at the Maintenance Activity Type or System Condition fields.

Hi,

Restart the Maintenance Plan by giving yesterday date so that it will trigger today. Then the plan will call the orders.

Hi Chin2

please confirm/share the following to check the problem:

1. LSMW excel format which you are using.

2. uploading with single sheet or multiple sheets.

3. LSMW object source fields.

I have figured it out by making changes on this user exit:

-ZXWO1U05

-Using these BADI's to delete and create new settlement rules:

     - K_POSTING_RULES_DELETE

     - K_ORDER_SRULE_ADD

In case anyone needs.

Thank you

Hi,

NO, it is not working. In the IP10 for this maintenancplan, we can see that upto year 2020, it shows " Schedule Complete "

While doing RESTART, it is not generating any schedule.

Counter-Based Maintenance Planning

Hi, I am quite new to SAP so as usual please be patient! I've spent a lot of time going through existing discussions but haven't found anything to help me.

I am having 3 main issues:

1) orders being released BEFORE counts reached

2) creating a plan to apply to all equipment requiring the same maintenance cycle

3) plan scheduling

I am attempting to set up performance based planning for a large number of equipment. I have succesfully set up the counters using the following transactions:

CT04 - Create characteristic

IK01 - Create measuring point

IK11 - Create measuring document

I have checked "MeasPoint is Counter" and provided an annual estimate.

_______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

1) With regards to my first problem I have found that creating frequent (daily) measuring documents with 0 difference readings seems to solve this problem. This is necessary as the equipment may be inactive for some periods of time (maintenance or during shutdowns). It would be very useful if there was a way to create these measuring documents automatically at scheduled intervals. Is there?

Also, placing a very low value for the annual estimate also seems to work but this just feels like a wrong way of going about it.

2) I have planned the maintenance by creating a strategy, then a general task list and then using IP42 to plan the maintenance. However this only applies to a single piece of equipment. As there are almost 1000 pieces of equipment that will require maintenance after the same number of counts i was hoping there is a way to create a single plan and then attach each piece of equipment with its counter to follow this plan keeping in mind that each piece of equipment has different use/activity.

3) This seems to be a common problem. When i update the counter reading to surpass the maintence counter value IP10 displays "scheduled - Save to call". I would like not to have to manually go into IP10 every day for each equipment to see if the count has been reached and then save to release the order. I am not authorised to use IP30 which i think would somehow solve this problem. Is this correct?

If IP30 is the only way around this i may be able to request access.

Any insight into any of these issues would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

Dominick
