There are many ways.

 

Are you using any Partner Function?? If you have HR module implemented, then department group mail id can be created. You can assign that mail id to that department manager & that person can be mentioned as Person Responsible. So that, system will send the mail to all people in that department.

 

Else, using partner function, you can mention the department responsible in notification by having HR module, through development, all persons mail id can be read using the department assigned in HR master data.

 

Else, from user master data, you can make this to happen.

 

So, please discuss with your HR/Basis/ABAP consultants on this.

Automatic cost center in IW31

Dear Experts,

 

My client requirement is to fill cost center in maintenance order automatically.

This cost center shall be inherited from equipment master, if equipment field is populated in maintenance order. But in standard, it is always get populated automatically from work center.

Please provide a solution.

Dear Megh,

It is the standard functionality that the cost center should be inherited from work center (Logically who perform the work will be costing for that workmanship)

So it is the standard functionality and you can override this by user exit " IWO10025 PM/SM order: Finding responsible cost center".

Here inside this exit you may define your own logic to extract the work-center from equipment master and populate in maintenance order.

Reschedule of Partially Confirmed WOs

Hi Experts,

I would like to get your help for the following :

I have created a PM Work order with single operation, that operation has been completed partially through IW41.Now the constraint i am facing to reschedule the WO for future.When ever i am putting the basic start date in future which is very true because i have to complete the remaining work in future & pressing the Schedule icon system wont allow me to plan the activity in future.

 

May i know how can I plan the remaining activity in future.I don't want to deselect the automatic scheduling Indicator.Also please note that I would like to calculate the Basic finished date automatically after pressing the schedule button.

Hi Kavya,

A partially confirmed order shall be scheduled to future dates with automatic scheduling selected.

Please go to PM&CS-->Maintenance & service processing-->Maintenance & service orders-->Scheduling-->Set scheduling parameters:- Select your order type, maintain ""Adjust basic dates"", Select scheduling type ""Forward / Backward"" as per the scheduling required. Select ""automatic scheduling"" and select ""Shift order"".

These settings may cater your requirement.

Planner groups will not come under Partner Functions. In Notification Header details, you have the option of assigning Planner group. But check the possibility of assigning mail id to planner group in planner group configuration.

Creation of maintenance plan with reference to existing plan.

Hi Gurus and Experts

 

Greetings!!

 

Please advice how to create similar maintenance plan with reference to existing plan (single cycle / strategy / multiple counter)

 

We are going for custom development for this mentioned as follows.

 

Requirement:- When a Maintenance Plan is copied from a reference Maintenance Plan, the field values according to selected options (Cycles TAB all fields data, Scheduling parameters TAB all fields data , Additional data TAB all fields data, Maintenance Items TAB all fields data) must be copied to newly created maintenance plan

 

There has to be copied always all existing fields of the mentioned tabs related to single cycle plan / strategy plan / multiple counter plan.

Q-1, What functional logic should I give to programmer and also how the program will know the given reference maintenance plan 10 is  whether single cycle plan / strategy plan / multiple counter plan, while creating new maintenance plan similar to that,

 

Q-2, What logic should I give to programmer so that  program will copy  only relevant fields from the 4 tabs (mentioned with the image check boxes)

related to single cycle plan / strategy plan / multiple counter plan to new maintenance plan.

Please help me in getting this as pm orders are generated on off days.....

 

-- I have checked through tcode SCAL the Factory calendar it is ok but still it is generating.......

Check your serial no profile, see if you can generate the profile manually there is tick mark for automatic generation of serial nos.
