Maintenance planning plant is the plant where materials (spare parts) should be created. But SAP allows to use spare parts from maintenance plant as well,because to group the process based on Planning Plant & to get the report consolidated and detailed level.

Can u pls. attach the screenshots of your work center capacity tab, details of capacity , scheduling tab.
Generally we have capacity category as 002(person), and capacity formula as SAP008(Other formula), and scheduling formula as SAP 004(other formula)
Also have you assigned to your work center any persons from HRMS link in work center?
In Order header, under dates sub-screen, pls. also check capacity requirement and automatic scheduling.

Means we should have all the spares in both the plants i.e. in maint plant and maint planning plant. But when it comes to costing then in which plant the costing will reflect?. And which plant will be responsible for the purchasing of these spares?.

Let it be clear with an example.
Suppose maint plant is 1000 and planning plant is 2000.
In plant 1000 i have created all the FLs and Equipment.
Now in which plant BOM and spares should be created?. And which plant will be responsible for the purchasing of the spares?.
One more thing, when an order will be executed then which plant will collect its cost.

I am facing a problem regarding equipment view not activated during IEN4 Transaction. I create serial no of spare part using IQ01.Here If I activate equipment view system will generate new equipment while I am using external no range of equipment.
Please suggest what should I do.I want to get faulty material back in warehouse. Also I have done the work at valuation type level.

I have got a solution long back. Sorry for not closing the thread.
Hello Gaurav,
IE4N is for Equipment dismantling and sending to Store. When system is not getting Equipment itself, it will throw this error. Now you need to use IQ02 and activate the Equipment view and then try IE4N.

Please check with your Basis team if either Note 2052390 or 2052690 is implemented as part of the upgrade. If yes, then follow the steps in Note 2204730 - IW32 basic order view, long text screen 006/131 cannot be edited
You need to perform manual changes in SE80 as well to generate the EAM_ORDER_OCX_LTXT_1 parameter as part of Note 2176194.

Maintenance plan is calling the work order even though counter has not yet reached.
The maintenance plan settings are as below.
Plan type: Performance based strategy
Cycle: 8000 hour
Call horizon: 95%
Sched Period: 5 year
Completion requirement: Checked
Shift factor for Late Completion: 100%
Tolerance(+): 10%
Shift factor for Early Completion: 100%
Tolerance(-): 10%
The last completion confirmation counter reading is 9919 hours. According to strategy next call has to generate on 9919+95% of 8000 hour i.e 9919+7600=17519 hours. But the present counter reasing is 11895 hours.
Please help me solve this problem.

Hello Kiran,
It looks the case of Order triggering through calculation based on Annual Estimate reading. Order triggers at the time of reading through Annual Estimate or through Counter whichever is earlier. See this post in this regard:Behavior of Performance Based Plan in SAP Plant Maintenance.

Hi,
Can u pls. post the attributes of this field in question to see if its a standard field or part of an append structure.
As Mr. Rao correctly said that there is no standard field such as mentioned by you in these 2 reports.
So its highly a possibility that there is some custom development/enhancement in these reports

My reply is still valid. It is IWO10009, include ZXWOCU07 where you will write the logic. There will be calculation lines before you store value into Zfield11. You have to study thelast two links for achieving the Default values to Order. Solution is aleady made available. It is the question how yo make use of it / apply it to your situation.
