Did you try to restart the plan and give the start of cycle as 01.01.2016 ? I think 01.01.2015 as start of cycle will give you 01.01.2017 as planned date with 24 month cycle. Hence you now restart it with start of cycle as 01.01.2016. Kindly try and let us know if it makes sense.
