Replication is simple. As per standard SAP, below is what it will calculate

Previously used maintenance package: 3M (every 3 months)
New, replacement maintenance package: 4M (every 4 months)
The next maintenance task is due for the first time after one month (This is why your next call is showing after 1 year), because the 3 month package has already been called up at least once. If you want to ensure that the next task is actually due after 4 months, then you must restart the maintenance plan.
