We are looking to streamline the recall process within our company. We have a custom equipment classification characteristic which is set when an item needs to be recalled. We also have a user status which can be set to restrict the movements of the item. Currently both the characteristic and the user status have to be changed manually and it is easy to forget to change the user status when changing the classification. Is there a user exit/BAPI which is invoked when either the classification or the equipment record is changed? I am wanting to check the value of the classification characteristic and automatically update the user status if the item is changed to Recall.
