Here, you are talking about material without cost. That thread talks about Internal activity without activity price.
In both cases, costs will not get updated into Service order. So, you can't bring the material or operations or qty in DP90.
I think, you have not gone through the thread completely or you have not understood the concept of bringing the details from Service order to DP90.
