Desperate Help - How to find out who released a work order (in Bulk)

$

Hi all,

i have been tasked with manually finding out who released certain work orders in SAP. My current process is using SAP transaction Z7270 and entering the work order number. Then going to the 'extras' tab then 'documents for order' then 'action log' while on action log i scroll down and find released and find the person who released the work order.

I have a list of 900 work orders i need to do this process, and have not found an alternative method to what i am doing now, is anyone aware of an easier method to find the user / person who released work orders in bulk ???

Your help would be much appreciated

Hello Gil,

Steps (All these are to be done through SE16 (or SE11) tcode

  1. Pass your Order No, list  (900) to AUFNR field of  AUFK table and get the list (900) of corresponding OBJNR values.
  2. Pass all these OBJNR values into the OBJNR field of JCDS table and also value I0002  (for REL status) into the STAT field and execute.

The information you wanted is in front of you like this

Capture.JPG

It is a simple one. If you have got any further clarification, revert. My answer could be as simple as 'You get this information from JCDS table' .

Good luck

Dear,

in addition to that, what is your valuation variant settings? for updating actual cost?

Did you make exclusive valuation variant fro refurbishment ?Kindly check the valuation variant settings for actual cost at

SPRO-->IMG-->Plant Maintenance and Customer Service-->Maintenance and Service Process-->ing-->Maintenance and Service Orders-->Functions and Settings for Order Types-->Costing Data for Maintenance and Service Orders-->Costing Data for Maintenance and Service Orders

and also check valuation strategies of material.

Pardhu

Hi Gaurav,

In OIOF, your Plant and Order Type Combination has the Costing Variant defined for both Planned and Actual Cost Calculation. Pls. Check the Valuation Variant defined (OKP8) in the Costing Variant defined for material valuation. The Strategy might not be considering the Standard Price Control you mentioned in your Material Master for C3 valuation.

May be you can choose the strategy as "Valuation Price according to Price Control in Material Master" option.

Pls. check and let us know if it helped.

Thanks,

Saurabh.

There is a simplest option if using the material master shelf life expiration date is not appropriate in your case:

This option applies only if you are using batches for your spare

1) (Tcode MSC1N /MSC2N) When you first use the spare, define the Shelf Life Exp. Date in Basic data1 tab.

2) (Tcode MB5M) Run shelf life expiration report, you can leave Material and Batch numbers fields blank and decide the remaining shelf life in days. You can also create a job which will automatically send an email with the report.

Hi Kumar,

What are you trying to do with the order ?

When the order is TECO, you cannot do any changes in the order, so it gets error out.

SAP EAM Certification

Hello SAPers,

I have a query, regarding SAP EAM certification.

I am already SAP MM certified, with one year SAP support experience and 5 years Industrial domain experience. I was a site engineer so my domain was more or less related with SAP Plant Maintenance module but some how I entered SAP MM module.

I learned here that in SAP MM below 3 years experience there are not much opportunities while in PM we can get easy growth although I understand opportunities are less.

But also SAP PM is a small module as compared to SAP MM module and comparatively easy to learn.

I would like to know whether it will be a good move to be SAP EAM certified?

Also please tell me the codes for SAP EAM certification, it is recently upgraded.

Also please tell me the SAP Books codes for SAP EAM like for MM it is TSCM50 and TSCM52.

I will be highly thankful.

Thanks and Regards

Saurabh

Hello,

LSMW will be best for this. My suggestion is to go with the LSMW as illustrated above.

Don't you find any difference in Partner name and Customer name?

  • Input QMNUM or AUFNR into table VBAK to get KUNNR
  • Input KUNNR into table EBAN to get LIFNR.

Hi Saurabh and Pardhu,

1. The other plans which have been scheduled via IP10 have NO such issues as they have the orders generated based on the scheduling paramters.

2. IP30 view

Capture.PNG

From my initial screen, you can see the scheduled call have been overdue without a generated order.

Pls kindly help.

Sally

Attaching SAP note picture perhaps isn't as per ROE.

You can take help from BASIS persons to view the note 69931.
