I want only one maintenance plan category in transaction IP42 that is NO (only notification).Except this, no one should be shown here.How I can achieve it?

Saurabh,
It is not always necessary to have a reference object in the order.
Say I check my complete signaling system (for public transport system) 3 times a day everyday.
My signaling system have many FLs and equipments. During one check I note down the readings for say 100 different MPs for 10 different FLs and equipments. And I repeat that in remaining 2 shifts.
How do I provide one FL at header level then?
That's why I make a TL and include those 10 FLs in that as operations (and corresponding 100 MPs as PRTs).
Now, I have two options:
1. I enter MPs' reading first and if out of range (or any other condition) one call object is generated.
2. I make a strategy based plan with maintenance item as say, "System Check", with no reference technical object. However, I include above made general TL in that.
My user is new to SAP, they don't want to deviate much from their current practices. Option 2 reflects their routine.
While writing this response I revisited your reply on my earlier question:
Valuation Code based maintenance plans
have a look at your last reply point 4.
That is exactly what I am trying to implement. But as discussed in above posting SAP does not allow to use "only those MPs".

condition is :- when in maintenance order operation text , Control Key is WCM then Permit button will be activate on maintenance order header level.

1. Please share any document or link which is related to FM.
2. What is prerequisite for master data's are required ?
3. How to create the measuring points and documents for this and what is the logic ?
4. What are the related transaction codes including reports ?
5. What is User exit and BADI's are required ?

Your query does not comply the Rules of SCN. Also All-in-One general query would never attract quality answers. However I am giving point-by-point replies/comments.
- Go through these links. You'll get tons of material to understand Fleet management. (Also search with similar specific strings)
- Prerequisite is obviously Customization: See this Configuration document: Configuring Fleet Management
- Refer to above document, It is there.
- Mostly Fleet is Equipment master. All Tcodes relevant to Equipments and Measuring points etc are suitable. All rest of the tcodes are PM tcodes if you talk about Maintenance Processing. There are few exclusive tcodes available for Fleet management part of which you'd come to know through the above document. However, I am giving here the link for these tcodes: Fleet Management tcodes (This also you need not post here to know. You'd easily get through Google).
- It depends upon your requirement. Come with specific requirement for an enhancement. Then there will be likelihood of getting it.

Hello Gaurav,
- There can be a possibility of achieving through Screen-variant/Transaction variant (SHD0).
- And the above does not resolve then go for development of a custom screen as per your requirement which would call the IP42 program ie., SAPLIWP3. (skipping first screen).
- Another option can be exploring the Implicit enhancement points in the same program (SAPLIWP3).
The above Order is in the Order of my preference.

Hi Vivek,
Pls. follow these below steps to get only the Measuring points you defined in the task list operations.
1. Pls, make sure you have a completion confirmation profile in which Meas./cntr. readings active push button is checked. for this Go to node --> Set Screen Templates for Completion Confirmation in 'Completion Confirmations'
2. Go to IW42, select suitable profile from extras--> settings
3. Click button measurement/counter readings
4. in pop up window click button meas.points Inspn planning
5. this displays measuring points assigned to that operation only.

Automatic Notification Or Email to trigger for permit approvals during work order save.
Hi PM Experts,
Greetings!!!
My requirement is whenever the permits are assigned and saved in the work order,an automatic email or notification is to be triggered to the authorized person who issues the permit.
Again if the authorized person approves or rejects the permit in the notification or email, then the same status (Approved/Rejected) is to be updated in the permits issue field in the work order.
Kindly provide if any solution or work around for this scenario.
