Maintain Tasklist for PM orders and custom report

Hi ,


Basically i have 2 requirements to my clients.


1. I Need to maintain the task list for the preventive maintenance plan and need to assign the same to notification and while processing the Order, End User need to find the tasks and they can able to either close or incomplete with comments and need a report to track the tasks completed/incomplete for each order


2. Need to maintain the Equipment parameters like temperature, oil level, angle etc while performing the maintenance activity and a report in the specified format


Please advice.

Thank you for your answer, we do not have installedHANA, SAPR3only have installed, you can install enterprise search justwithSAPR3?.

  • Your second query is unrelated to title. Better start a new discussion for the same with proper subject line (title).
  • And your first query is filled with confusion. It makes me feel that you think Tasklist of Order and Tasks of Notification are related. If it is so correct your concept. They are not. If your concept is clear, then tell us more clearly what is the situation and what do you want?

Hi Mgoliva,
the search functionality in the enterprise search is provided by the TREX . So you need to install this and connect the application to TREX as described in the SAP documentation.
If the data stored in the HANA DB (seems to be not your case)  you can search for the data directly without to use the TREX.

Copy Fields when saving Maintenance Plan

Hey Everyone,

 

When creating a Maintenance plan based on a contract (via IP50) the equipment from the contract is added to the Object List but not as Reference Item in the Maintenance Item itself. It is required that the Reference Item is filled in.

 

Now, I want to copy the Equipment from the Object List to the Reference Item Equipment (RIWOL-EQUNR to RIWO1-EQUNR), but I was wondering which User Exit I will be needing for this.

 

IPRM0004 seems to be the correct one, so that the copying will happen when saving, but I don't know if it is possible. I was hoping you guys could help me out.

IPRM0004 is only meant for checks while Saving. I do not think it is possible to update fields while saving because this does not have an export structure. You may have to look for suitable BAdi or Implicit enhancement point in the Planprogram.

So we are talking about the menu exit to disable a standard field .I am not aware if there is any enhancement option to do this in IW32.

 

The Business completion is a standard Function. Not sure if we ever had had such requirement in past. Also disabling a standard Business Function, may have other impacts like in certain case deletion flag is active only after business completion

 

Instead you can  have the authorization assigned to a role and  then to users .


Check Authorization field : BETRVORG and its usage. Basis team can help you trace the authorization required to perform this and then you may chose to remove the authorization from certain users so that it is disabled for them,.

 

I regret that I do not know the 100% solution here.

Order sub operation's work center is not getting update

Hi Experts,

 

I am trying to update or change work center in MO operation's sub-operation. But system not updating the value after pressing save and re open the order.

 

For example:

 

I have an operation with work center "X" and creating sub operation with with work center "Y". After save, system updating the main operation work center "X" only, not "Y".  But if I change the Control key also, its accepting.

 

Issue happening sine we upgraded to EHP7.

 

Can any one suggest me if I miss any configuration.

I have run IP30 for single faulty maintenance plan and got Run Time error (time out error) after long run.

You can try FM STATUS_CHANGE_INTERN work for you by inputting the Order OBJNR value. Sample code for using this fm is available here. (Here it was user to Release Orders)

If you have identified the faulty plan and want to know the reason for infinitely running while scheduling, then you need to share all the plan and scheduling details with members to study the reason for infinite running. (preferably Pictures)

Inspection round planning

Hi experts,

 

I tried using inspection round planning, I made a general task list with one FL at operation level. In the PRTs, I provided 5 out of 10 measuring points over that FL.

 

For testing purpose, I made a maintenance order, imported the above made general task list. Now those included 5 measuring points are showing as PRTs in the operation of the order.

 

I put in process the order.

 

Now when I want to do confirmations using IW41, I can select that operation and measuring point tab. Here I can enter measurement readings.

 

As per my understanding only those 5 measurement readings should be shown during confirmations.

OR at most all 10 measuring points of that FL should be shown (in case some readings taken which were not included in order operation).

 

BUT, in my case it is showing only Order number and no FL. Here I can select any random FL and its MPs.

 

Please confirm if my understanding is correct or am I missing some settings.

In this post :Behavior of Performance Based Plan in SAP Plant Maintenance. also they have metioned call object will be generated only when the counter crosses the cycle mentioned in the plan.

 

Just for reference

3rd Scheduling:

 

Scheduling has been done which has generated the Order for 564 KM. As KM reading crosses the Cycle frequency, Call status will be as "NEW START SAVE TO CALL".


But in my case Maintenance plan is calling the work order even though counter has not reached.

Hi,

 

It appears you want to enable some form of cross-plant material availability checking. As far as I am aware this is not possible in the standard ATP checking logic. The ATP checking rules can be configured via transaction OVZ9. However I don't see ability to check across multiple plants.

 

If the scenario does not work via material check in IW32 it will not be possible through the BAPI.
