In the business process, due to old habits, users are used to enter the functional locations in the operation long text. In addition to this, in many cases, they include functional location in object list for a work order. I have a requirement wherein i have to build a query and have to search for all work orders which contain a particular functional location in order - doesn't matter it is present in operation long text or object list. I am loooking at the possibility of using TREX related SES functionality to do a free text search.
I would like your inputs to understand how this can be done. I was successfully able to active the SES functionality to add two additional search options for standard object Functional location but unable to do so for work orders. Could you please help me understand how this can be achieved?
