Basic Start & Finshed Dates changed due to Factory Calenday - How can you Bypass the Factory Calendar

I am trying to create a work order with a Priority (Very High) which is setup in configuration for current day + 1.

Example: If I create a work order on July 2nd then the Basic Start date should be 7/2/14 and the Basic Finished date should be 7/3/2014.

However, since we are using Factory Calendars the dates are getting pushed out because when creating the Work Order, it is looking at all the factory calendars setup with specials rules.  In the special rules we have setup Plant Shutdown for (6/30/14 - 7/5/14). If I remove the special rules for plant shutdown in the calendars then everything works correctly.  How can I bypass the factory calendar when creating work orders using priorities?  I even created a Factory Calendar for Plant Maintenance without any special rules and assign it the all the work centers under the capacity planning header and it still looks at the other calendars.
