New Maintenance Item Scheduling

Hello-

I want to add a new maintenance item to an existing maintenance plan that has items on it already. It's a monthly plan that has already called. How do I get this new item that I have just added to call like the others have aleady without affecting the scheduling? Since the others have already called for this month, is it possible to have an order kick out for this new item?
