Hello Pete,
Please advice on the approach. Looks like this is what i need. Aslo Single cycle plan did not work for the below reasons as well.
A strategy based Maintenance Plan was created with 90 Days package.
Create and Schedule the plan for the first time with the below data in the package.
Subsequent: 90
Follow-up float in days
Use
The number of days that you specify for the follow-up buffer affects the finish date in the order and the deadline is deferred accordingly.
The first order was scheduled to start from 12/21/2013 and had a 90 day window. It was TECO'd with a date of 01/11/2014. The plan was scheduled using IP30.
After the scheduling the plan for the first time, change the package to the below
Initial: 89
Lead Float in Days
The number of days that you specify for the preliminary buffer affects the order start date in the order and the deadline is deferred accordingly.
The next call was generated.
Below is the BSD and BFD which are 90 days apart. This is what i need, the next order to be dependent on the TECO date. Since the Package was 90 days the BFD was pushed to 90 days from the start date without maintaining the Subsequent value in the Package.
I had a question on testing the TECO date for future completion. If I try to give a future date i get the below error. If I give the TECO date 30 days in the past and future of the current date then I am able to TECO the order. I changed the "start in the past" setting in IMG to 999 from 30 days but still no luck.
Also If i TECO the order with future date and I reschedule the plan it doesn't populate the next order. My understanding is since the Completion Requirement is enforced the plan will not create the next order until the TECO date is reached even though the Call Horizon is set at 0%.
Please advice.
Thanks & Regards
Sid
